Allcare Plus Ltd

Quality Assurance

As a Care provider, we are regulated by the Care Quality Commission and have a 5 star "good" rating. To achieve this, we must comply with the regulations set by them and undergo vigorous unannounced inspections.

Assuring that we maintain our quality standards is of paramount importance to AllCare Plus. To do this, we first measure ourselves against our policies and procedures to ensure we are meeting the standards we have set ourselves.

We do this by monitoring out own performance annually through a client survey and make amendments to our working practices and policies where needed. Throughout the year, we also undertake audits to ensure the areas within care e.g.: infection control is controlled correctly. In addition to our own checks we also have measures in place to ensure that the carers are well matched and fulfilling all the duties expected of them.

We operate a stringent recruitment process requiring criminal record check with references from professionals which ensures we recruit the best possible carers. This is then followed up by our placement process which means that with our diverse range of carers we place the most suitable carer based on your requirements

We then conduct and actively encourage feedback from our carers, clients and their families to enable us to identify what we are doing well and improve in areas that they link we could do better

Amanda Osborn

Managing Director

I have been involved with the care sector for 30 years. My employment record includes carer both in the community and residential, nursing auxiliary, mobile support officer for the local council and GP care advisor for the health authority. The decision to start a community care company was made 17 years ago by myself and my husband David. We wanted to provide a professional friendly service to support people to remain in their own homes

At Allcare Plus we recognise the value of good old-fashioned customer services and acknowledge that we are dealing with people with unique needs and requirements. Because of this you will receive a home visit by one of our senior staff members who will carry out an assessment without any obligation

This, provides everyone the opportunity to discuss not only specific help and assistance that might be required also medication requirements etc. Because of this meeting a care package can be drawn up tailored to match the needs identified.
